Five Beaches & a Handful of Parks Go Family-Friendly in Dubai This Eid
Jumeirah and Umm Suqeim beaches go family-only and Mushrif, Mamzar, Zabeel and Nad Al Sheba parks host evening events with live performances and traditional sweet-making demonstrations.
For Eid Al-Fitr five of Dubai’s most popular beaches —Jumeirah 1, Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, and Umm Suqeim 2, including the night beaches— have been designated as family-only zones for the duration of the break.
Alternatively, if beaches aren't your thing, the parks have you covered. Mushrif National Park, Al Mamzar Park, and Zabeel Park are hosting evening events on the first and second days of Eid, from 4PM to 7PM; live performances, traditional sweet-making demonstrations, and giveaways.
Joining the celebrations for the first time, Nad Al Sheba Park is part of the lineup with a dedicated Eid event on the third day. Same timing, same family focus, but with added appearances from Modhesh and Dana, which is the kind of celebrity endorsement that matters when you're under ten. There will be workshops, Harbiya performances, and enough cultural activities to make everyone feel they've done something enriching between the chocolate and the barbecues.
Children's City is also getting in on the action, hosting celebrations on the first and third days with games, competitions, and the always-popular distribution of sweets and gifts.
Labour camps in Muhaisnah, Al Quoz, and Jebel Ali are also part of the picture, with three dedicated Eid events catering to around 30,000 workers.
Behind the scenes, Dubai Municipality has deployed more than 2,800 sanitation staff and nearly 800 vehicles to keep beaches, parks, and public spaces in shape. Inspection teams are checking food outlets, beauty centres, hotels, and amusement rides.
