ONTime Sports Will Broadcast 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers
ONTime Sports has acquired the rights to broadcast the matches of Egypt’s national team for the 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Egyptian sports network, ONTime Sports, has acquired the rights to broadcast the Egyptian national team’s qualifier matches for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, as well as the rights to all highlights of all African teams’ qualifier matches.
The qualifying matches for Africa run from November 15th, 2023 to October 2025, with 54 national teams divided into nine groups of six teams. Egypt’s national team will be competing in the first group, which includes Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Djibouti, Guinea and Sierra Leone.
Egypt’s first match will take place on November 16th, 2023 at Cairo Stadium, where they will compete against Djibouti’s national team. Their second match will see Egypt face off against Sierra Leone at Liberia on November 19th.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup will be jointly hosted by the United States, Mexico and Canada. For the first time, the tournament will include 48 teams instead of the usual 32.
