GEMS Education, one of the most expensive schools in the world, is set to open in Dubai's Sports City.
Offering a UK curriculum, the school is planned to feature an Olympic size swimming pool, a massive football pitch, and specialized labs for robotics and science. Fees will range somewhere between AED 116,000 (USD 31,500) and AED 206,000 (USD 56,000).
The curriculum itself will focus on academic subjects alongside future-oriented areas like computer science, AI, robotics, esports, and game design along with languages, arts, sports, engineering, and business.
In addition to core academics, the school will offer co-curricular activities such as gymnastics, swimming, musical theatre, and various forms of dance. Its facilities will incorporate technology such as AR and VR to enhance learning, while its partnerships will include companies such as Microsoft, HP, and Apple.
