Over 300 Shooters Set for Abu Dhabi Shotgun Championship
Women will account for nearly 10 percent of the athletes competing.
The Abu Dhabi International Shotgun Championship will take place at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club from December 1st to 4th, 2025. The tournament will welcome more than 300 shooters from over 30 countries, including 30 competitors from the UAE. The event is organised by the Weapons and Hazardous Substances Office in cooperation with the UAE Shooting Federation and the International Federation of Sport Shooting and Hunting (FITASC). The total prize pool will exceed USD 400,000 (more than AED 1.5 million). Women will account for nearly 10 percent of the athletes competing. Official training sessions are scheduled from November 27th to 30th, ahead of the four-day championship. The final day will include the Abu Dhabi Silver Awards, with prizes exceeding AED 100,000, adding an additional competitive tier to the event. Organisers said preparations are fully complete, with logistics aligned to the standards of major international sporting competitions.
