Parkin to Add Five Automated Multi-Storey Car Parks in Dubai
Parkin targets a fully cashless open-flow model for off-street and multi-storey parking by year end, alongside five new automated facilities within two years linked to the RTA.
Parkin will build five fully automated multi-storey car parks across Dubai within the next two years, featuring automated systems, electric vehicle charging and integrated payment technology. The facilities will be strategically located in high-traffic business districts to address demand for structured parking and improve turnover, with a focus on a seamless cashless experience for drivers.
Parkin stated that by the end of this year, all off-street and multi-storey parking in Dubai is expected to operate under a fully cashless, open-flow model. Customers will be able to make automatic payments through linked digital wallets or via the Parkin app, which will support individual, family and business accounts for larger vehicle fleets.
The company is investing in technology including artificial intelligence-based inspection systems and unified digital platforms connected with the Roads and Transport Authority, noting that 93% of customer calls are now resolved immediately without escalation.
Parkin revealed that its dynamic pricing model, introduced in April, has contributed to a 9% improvement in traffic flow in high-demand areas and applies to about 40% of operating hours. It is also expanding partnerships with private developers and government entities to standardise the parking experience across malls, mosques and mixed-use communities.
