Phase One of Dubai’s Al Shindagha Corridor Project Complete

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai announced significant progress in the Al Shindagha Corridor Project with the completion of its first phase. Phase one marks a 45% milestone in the project, which is aimed at decreasing traffic on the city's busiest roads.

Several key phases have already been finished, including the construction of bridges, intersections, and the Falcon Intersection Improvement Project.

Once fully completed, the Al Shindagha Corridor is expected to dramatically reduce travel times from the current 104 minutes to just 16 minutes by 2030. With plans spanning 4.8 kilometres, the project includes the construction of bridges and tunnels to enhance traffic flow along major routes, benefiting approximately one million residents.
