The Ministry of Education and Technical Education has confirmed that schools will be exempt from power cuts during the exam period in the second school term, ensuring a level playing field for all those undertaking assessments. The ministry coordinated with the Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy to ensure that load reduction will not affect schools in which students are being examined.
The exemption applies to all school stages, from primary to high school. The decision is particularly important for secondary school students, whose exams are taken electronically.
