Power Slap to Make International Debut in Abu Dhabi on October 24th
The world’s premier slap fighting competition will be held at the Space 42 Arena as part of Abu Dhabi Showdown week.
If ever there was a time to turn the other cheek, this would be it. Power Slap, the world’s premier slap-fighting competition, will make its international debut with its ninth live event at Space 42 Arena in Abu Dhabi on October 24th, as part of Abu Dhabi Showdown Week. The event will also be available live and free across the globe on Rumble.
Headlining Power Slap 9 will be a clash of slap-fighting legends, as reigning Power Slap Super Heavyweight Champion, Da Crazy Hawaiian, returns to defend the crown against No. 1-ranked Super Heavyweight, Vasilii “Dumpling” Kamotskii.
“Power Slap 9 will be our first international event,” Power Slap founder Dana White tells SceneNowUAE. “Every time I bring an event to Abu Dhabi, I bring the biggest and best fights possible. It’s going to be an amazing week for fight fans. I also have a ton of cool experiences planned for the fans. You don’t want to miss this event!”
The remainder of the Power Slap 9 card will be announced in the coming weeks, along with ticket information for this inaugural event.
Power Slap is regulated and sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and the California State Athletic Commission. Power Slap was founded by Dana White, Lorenzo Fertitta, and Craig Piligian, in partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
