Qasr Al Hokm Metro Station Opens to the Public in Riyadh
Qasr Al Hokm is one of four key stations in Riyadh, and links the Blue and Orange lines with the city’s bus services.

The new Qasr Al Hokm station on the Riyadh Metro line is now open to the public. One of four key stations in the Metro network, Qasr Al-Hokm links the Blue and Orange lines with the city’s bus services.
Located in the city centre, the stop is also in a convenient location to access government institutions, palaces, historical sites, markets, shopping centres and residential neighbourhoods.
The station covers 22,500 square metres across seven levels, and reaches a depth of 35 metres. Its design features a blend of traditional and contemporary elements, allowing natural light to filter to its interior. It has 17 elevators and 46 escalators as well as several shops and a shaded public garden.
Having opened in December with an aim of easing the capital’s issues of traffic congestion, the Riyadh Metro includes six interconnected lines with 85 stations. Since opening, it has carried 18 million passengers.
