Riyadh Mood Launches First Riyadh Season Record
Recorded at Merwas in Boulevard City and filmed at Al Hosn, the project is led by Nawaf Al Bannay with Khaled Ezz, Tamer Faidy and engineer Geoff Foster.
Inside Merwas Studios at Boulevard City, a roomful of strings and brass is tracking the first record dedicated to Riyadh Season — a project backed by Riyadh Season and the Saudi General Entertainment Authority.
Riyadh Mood brings together over 30 musicians from around the world alongside players from the Arab region. The recording is led by Nawaf Al Bannay, with arranger Khaled Ezz and maestro Tamer Faidy shaping the sessions.
On the technical side, engineer Geoff Foster — a winner of over five Grammy Awards — oversees the sound.
Positioned as a recorded music addition to Riyadh Season’s cultural slate, the album will be filmed in full at Al Hosn – Big Time studios under Indian director Disha Daswani. It comprises 42 songs.
