Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defence announced that its air defence systems intercepted and destroyed nine drones that entered the Kingdom’s airspace early Wednesday.
In a statement shared by the Saudi Press Agency, defence spokesperson Major General Turki Al-Maliki said the drones were detected and immediately neutralised upon entering Saudi airspace.
The ministry also confirmed that two cruise missiles were intercepted and destroyed in Al-Kharj Governorate.
