Saudi Arabia to Host AFC Champions League Elite Finals in 2025 & 2026
The winning clubs for the two upcoming seasons will receive a hefty prize of USD 12 million, triple the amount of the current season, with runners-up receiving USD 6 million.
Saudi Arabia has won the bid to host the final stages of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League Elite tournament for both 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation was designated hosting duties following evaluations deeming the federation as having the most suitable infrastructure and facilities amongst all potential host country candidates.
The championship, which will oversee the top 24 clubs from throughout the continent split into two leagues of 12 representing the Eastern and Western regions, will play out its semi-final and final stages in Jeddah. The winning clubs for the two upcoming seasons will receive a hefty prize of USD 12 million, triple the amount of the current season, with runners-up receiving USD 6 million.
The 2024-2025 edition will be the 43rd of its kind, and the first under the new ‘elite’ title. The final stage of the first edition is slated for April 25th to May 4th 2025.
