‘Sekket Rizq’ Connects Care Graduates to Delivery Jobs
The Ministry of Social Solidarity partners with Talabat Egypt to support care graduates into paid delivery work.
The Ministry of Social Solidarity has launched ‘Sekket Rizq’, an initiative aimed at supporting graduates of care institutions by facilitating their entry into the labour market through delivery work with Talabat Egypt.
The programme includes the provision of motorcycles and scooters for use in courier roles, creating a structured pathway for beneficiaries to generate income.
The launch was attended by Minister of Social Solidarity Maya Morsi, alongside representatives of partner organisations. ‘Sekket Rizq’ is being implemented through a partnership between the ministry, Sonaa Al Kheir Foundation for Development, Suez Canal Bank and Talabat Egypt.
The model combines employment opportunities with practical support, including the provision of work tools, onboarding assistance and capacity-building measures, to ensure sustained integration into Talabat Egypt’s delivery platform.
Suez Canal Bank stated that its participation falls within its social responsibility framework. The bank is providing donations to finance transport means for beneficiaries, enabling them to open bank accounts with symbolic deposits and hosting awareness sessions to introduce basic banking services and financial management tools.
