Smart Guide Launched to Assist Pilgrims Ahead of Hajj 2025

Pilgrims travelling for Hajj 2025 will have access to a new multilingual digital guide aimed at enhancing their experience and ensuring a better understanding of the pilgrimage’s rituals. Saudi Arabia has introduced the ‘Smart Book of Hajj Rituals’, which is available in Arabic, English, French, Urdu, Malayalam, and Turkish.

Pilgrims can access the guide through electronic libraries located in mosques and via in-flight entertainment systems on Saudia, the Kingdom’s national airline. The initiative is part of wider preparations for the 2025 Hajj season, scheduled to take place in early June.

The launch was announced during a recent meeting in Makkah with officials responsible for overseeing Hajj services. In addition to the digital guide, Saudi authorities reviewed broader operational plans, including the readiness of mosques along key travel routes, the expansion of guidance programmes, the deployment of translators at land, sea, and air entry points, and the distribution of educational resources to pilgrims.
