Stefanos Tsitsipas Conquers 2025 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship
The victory marks Tsitsipas’s 12th career title and a return to the world’s Top 10, as well as his first ATP 500 win.

Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas secured his first ATP 500 title at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, defeating Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-3, 6-3 under the lights at Centre Court. Playing in his third final in four appearances at the tournament, the Greek No. 4 seed won in just under 90 minutes.
Tsitsipas had previously fallen short in Dubai, including a 2020 final loss to Novak Djokovic. This time, he overcame early break points and took control, seizing a crucial break at 4-3 in both sets.
The result marks Tsitsipas’s 12th career title and a return to the world’s Top 10. Auger-Aliassime, who entered the match as one of the Tour’s most in-form players following title wins in Adelaide and Montpellier, could not replicate his success but is expected to climb back into the Top 20 when new rankings are released.
In the Men’s Doubles final, Yuki Bhambri and Alexei Popyrin staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten 3-6, 7-6, 10-8. Popyrin, a former ball kid at the tournament, sealed the victory with an ace, capping off a week that saw the duo fend off four match points in the final.
Held annually in Dubai since 1993, the ATP 500 event is owned and organised by Dubai Duty Free, and staged under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
