Teachers in Egypt Will Soon Be Required to Have a Licence to Work
According to the Minister of Education, teaching is the only profession that doesn’t require a licence to practise in Egypt.
The Minister of Education has announced his request for a legislative amendment to necessitate the existence of a teaching licence for educators. According to the minister, teaching is the only profession that does not require a licence to practise in Egypt.
Additionally, the minister highlighted the importance of leveraging human resources to maximise the effectiveness of teaching by creating training programs for teachers, and conducting continuous assessments for them. The technological advancement of schools, especially the government-funded Nile Schools, was also deemed a necessary facet for development in the education sector.
