Trump & Al Sisi to Co-Chair Gaza Peace Summit on Monday in Egypt
The summit’s stated goals include “ending the war in Gaza, accelerating efforts toward peace and regional stability, and inaugurating a new security framework for the Middle East”.
US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will co-chair a Gaza peace summit on Monday in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, bringing together over 20 world leaders.

The summit’s stated goals include “ending the war in Gaza, accelerating efforts toward peace and regional stability, and inaugurating a new security framework for the Middle East”.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres will attend, as will leaders from the UK, Italy, Spain, and France.
Hamas has announced it will not participate.

The meeting follows a recent ceasefire and prisoner-exchange deal reached after months of indirect negotiations mediated by Egypt, Qatar, and Turkey, with US envoys also playing a role.
More than 67,000 Palestinians were killed during the Gaza genocide, with unregistered deaths expected to push the toll even higher.
