Two Foreign Films Wrap Up Shooting at Egypt's Media Production City
The production of the films ‘Le Trésor de Khéops’ and ‘Murder at the Embassy’ were facilitated by the Egypt Film Commission.
Two international movies have just been completed at Egypt’s Media Production City. The filming of these productions were supervised by the Egypt Film Commission.
The two films include French film ‘Le Trésor de Khéops’ (Treasure of Cheops), produced as collaboration between Egyptian production house International Egypt Films, and French production house Bonne Pioche Cinema Yves Darondeau. The film was shot at a number of famed locations in Egypt, including the Giza Pyramids and Downtown Cairo.
The second film, ‘Murder at the Embassy’, is a collaborative production between American production house American Production Master Key Studios and Egyptian production house Neo Productions. The film was shot at Media Production City, El Moez Street and the Giza Pyramids.
The Commission has facilitated the filming of around 35 foreign films in Egypt in the past two years, including American, Norwegian, French, Canadian, Colombian, Swiss, Saudi, and Indian productions.
