UAE Announces 78 Total Injuries Since the Start of Iranian Attacks
The ministry confirmed three fatalities and 78 minor injuries among multiple nationalities.
The UAE Ministry of Defence confirmed on Wednesday that its air defence systems successfully intercepted three ballistic missiles and detected 129 drones, of which 121 were neutralised.
Since the start of the escalation, authorities report that 189 ballistic missiles have been detected with 175 destroyed, 941 drones detected with 876 intercepted, and eight cruise missiles destroyed. While most threats were neutralised, debris caused minor to moderate property damage, and the ministry confirmed three fatalities and 78 minor injuries among multiple nationalities.
Officials added that the loud sounds heard across parts of the country were caused by air defence systems intercepting missiles and fighter jets neutralising drones. The UAE remains on high alert, reaffirming that the safety of citizens, residents, and visitors is the top priority, and urged the public to rely solely on official sources and avoid spreading unverified information.
