US Reality Show 'Say Yes to the Dress' Is Coming to the Middle East
The nine-episode show was filmed over 14 days at Dubai’s Hazar Haute Couture boutique, and will see Khalil Zein assisting brides in finding their dream wedding dresses.
Seems like there’s an Arabic version of everything these days, but there are some shows that absolutely need to go local. Think of ‘Say Yes to the Dress’, for example, the US reality television programme that’s gotten spin-offs practically everywhere, from the UK to Australia to India, showing us all what brides worldwide have in common: tight budgets, stressful mums and pushy bridesmaids who won’t keep their opinions to themselves. Now after 15 years, we’re finally getting some of that action in the Middle East with an Arabic version of ‘Say Yes to the Dress’ featuring Lebanese celebrity stylist Khalil Zein.
The Arabic show will feature 20 brides from 12 countries, each looking to find their dream dress for their big day. Egyptian beauty influencer and vitiligo advocate Logina Salah, Dubai-based fitness blogger Amy Fox and Iraqi-Polish radio presenter Eve Jaso are among some of the familiar faces we can expect to see once it airs on February 11th.
The nine-episode show was filmed over 14 days at Dubai’s Hazar Haute Couture boutique, and will see Khalil Zein assisting brides in finding their dream wedding dresses from a collection ranging in price from USD 615 to USD 14,000.
The show will be available exclusively on regional streaming platform StarzPlay.
