USD 953 Million Project Will Offer Affordable Villas to UAE Citizens
The Yas Canal Residential Project will include 1,146 villas as well as a school, shops, a mosque and more.
The Abu Dhabi Housing Authority (ADHA) has launched a Dh3.5 billion plan to offer high-quality housing to Emirati families. The Yas Canal residential project for Al Raha Beach will see the construction of 1,146 villas for UAE citizens over 1.8 square kilometres, and will include three mosques, a school, and a gym. In addition, a one hectare area will contain an assortment of amenities and shops.
The villas in question will contain three- to six-bedrooms and range from 350 to 525 square metres. They will be located on plots that measure between 600 and 780 square metres.
This project is a collaboration between the ADHA and the ICT Real Estate Development Company. It aligns with the government plans to pursue private-public partnerships to provide Emiratis with housing. Included in the Yas Canal residential project are housing loans for UAE citizens that are offered by the ADHA. The project is expected to be completed in 2027.
