Umm Al Quwain Declares 3 Days of Mourning After Death of Sheikha Hassa
Sheikha Hassa bint Humaid Al Shamsi, mother of the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, has passed away. The emirate will observe three days of mourning with flags at half-mast.

The Ruler's Court of Umm Al Quwain has declared a three-day mourning period following the death of Sheikha Hassa bint Humaid bin Abdulrahman Al Shamsi, the mother of Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain.
As a mark of respect, flags across the emirate will be flown at half-mast until the end of the mourning period. Funeral prayers are scheduled for Monday following the Dhuhr prayer at the Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Mualla Mosque in the Al Ras area of Umm Al Quwain.
Sheikha Hassa was a respected member of the Al Shamsi family, known for her contributions to the community and her support for various charitable initiatives within the emirate. Her legacy includes a commitment to social welfare and the promotion of education and cultural heritage in Umm Al Quwain.
