Visual Arts Commission Launches Third Kingdom Photography Award
Winners will receive prizes from a SAR 400,000 pool, as well as professional development opportunities.
The Visual Arts Commission, which focuses on the development and promotion of visual arts in Saudi Arabia, including photography, painting, and sculpture, has launched the third edition of the Photography Kingdom Award to encourage local and international photographers to capture stories through photography.
To qualify, participants are expected to adhere to Sharia, public morals and cultural values, and be over 16 years old. Entries should only be original works with no duplicates, and participants must complete all stages of the award to be considered.
Winners will receive prizes from a SAR 400,000 pool along with professional development opportunities, including workshops led by renowned experts and the chance to showcase their work at Hayy Jameel alongside seasoned photographers.
Submissions must be uploaded through the Visual Arts Commission's website in the required format.
