Waterfront Nights Brings Ramadan Festivities to Yas Bay

Yas Bay Waterfront is set to host the fourth edition of Waterfront Nights, bringing an immersive Ramadan experience to Abu Dhabi from March 15th to April 1st, 2025. Running daily from 8 PM to 2 AM, the free-to-enter event will showcase 26 local retailers, diverse food stalls, and live entertainment, making it a vibrant destination during the holy month.

A key highlight of this year’s event is its support for homegrown businesses, with 23 out of the 26 participating brands backed by the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development. Guests can explore a variety of fashion, accessories, artwork, and fragrances, with brands such as Classy & Elegant Couture, Tebra, and 90s Aoud offering unique pieces.

Food lovers can indulge in a wide selection of traditional and international treats, from Emirati favourites like luqaimat, khameer, and chebab at Rqaq House, to Egyptian dishes like koshari and mahshi at The Lions. Guests can also enjoy modern street food offerings such as ramen and slushies for a diverse culinary experience.

Beyond shopping and dining, visitors can take part in free creative workshops, including Islamic geometric art and Arabic calligraphy, where participants will learn intricate design techniques from expert artisans.

The event will also feature a live hakawati (traditional storyteller), captivating audiences with tales of history, culture and faith. Adding to the atmosphere, Oud and Qanun musicians will perform every hour, filling Yas Bay with the enchanting sounds of Arabic melodies.

For families, the kids' corner offers face painting, arts and crafts, and electric bike adventures, while the gaming area invites guests to enjoy chess, dominoes, carrom, and tawla.

To mark Eid al-Fitr, Waterfront Nights will open early, from 4 PM to 10 PM, concluding with a spectacular fireworks display over Yas Bay. Guests can also take part in a raffle draw, with one entry for every AED 100 spent at the market. Prizes include a Gold Yas Annual Pass and AED 1,000 in dining vouchers, redeemable at participating Yas Bay Waterfront outlets.
