Wednesday February 18th Confirmed First Day of Ramadan

Saudi authorities have officially confirmed the crescent moon sighting, declaring that tomorrow Wednesday, February 18th, will be the first day of Ramadan 1447 AH. The sighting took place in observatories in Hawtat Sudair and Tumair, marking the start of the spiritual month of fasting and reflection for Muslims.

Ramadan will continue until mid March, with Eid al Fitr expected to fall on Friday, March 20th, 2026, subject to the next crescent sighting.
