You Can Now File Electricity Complaints & Outages Through Two New Apps

One of these two apps, ‘Electricity Services for the Deaf’. will offer its services in sign language.

The Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy has launched two new mobile apps for Egyptian citizens to submit their complaints about electrical services and power outages.

The first app is called ‘Electricity Emergency’ and will provide quick technical responses to all electricity services emergencies and outages. The second app, ‘Electricity Services for the Deaf’, will be dedicated to people with hearing impairments by offering responses in sign language.

These two apps are part of the country’s unified smart electricity services platform which has been used by 3.5 million citizens since its launch in 2020.
