The Egyptian gelateria - already known for turning gelato into something of a national obsession - has unveiled its newest serve: a classic scoop in a black-and-gold cup etched with hieroglyphics. The design nods to ancient Egypt without tipping into kitsch, a rare feat for a brand that’s built its name on playfulness. The limited-edition cup will only be available at Dolato’s newest branch inside the Grand Egyptian Museum, where history and dessert now share the same postcode.
