TikTok Announces Plans to Open a Delivery-Only Restaurant Concept
About that baked feta pasta...
If you want to try the baked feta-and-tomato pasta dish that was all over TikTok this year, soon you won’t even have to flip on your oven to make it anymore. The video-sharing platform has announced that it's joining forces with cloud kitchen service Virtual Dining Concepts to offer all of your favourite viral dishes from the app in the form of TikTok Kitchen. Yup, you read that right.
Earlier this year in Ramadan, TikTok released a statistic showing how many Arabs used the app to look for short-form content related to cooking, especially around noon. Cooking is also one of the top categories during the holy month, giving rise to hashtags such as #RamadanFood and #CookFromHome.

Launching next year, TikTok Kitchen will feature branded delivery-only restaurants across the US. “The menu is inspired by the hottest food trends on TikTok and will change on a quarterly basis,” Virtual Dining Concepts says on its website.
Proceeds from TikTok Kitchen sales will go to both support the creators who inspired the menu item and to encourage and assist other creators to express themselves on the platform in keeping with TikTok's mission to inspire creativity and bring joy to its users. We don't know about you, but we have no choice but to support.
We're not sure when TikTok is going to come to our side of the world, but we're counting the seconds until that day happens.
