Barbers Set New Guinness Record for Beard Trims in Dubai
At Beautyworld Middle East, 48 barbers from across the GCC and Lebanon achieved 190 beard trims in one hour, setting a Guinness World Record and creating a new category in the process.
A massive team of barbers from across the GCC and Lebanon have set a new Guinness World Record for the most beard trims and shaves completed in one hour by a team. The record was achieved at Beautyworld Middle East 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, during a live showcase organized under BeautyLive by Fresha in collaboration with STMNT Grooming.
The event brought together 48 professional barbers, divided across 24 grooming stations, each staffed by one stylist and an assistant. Visitors to the exhibition were invited to register on-site for a free professional beard trim or shave, contributing to what became a high-speed display of coordination and skill.
Over the course of one hour, the barbers collectively completed 190 beard trims and shaves—an average of one every 19 seconds. Each participant worked on approximately four clients within the hour, spending about 15 minutes per person. Every session was timed, monitored, and recorded according to the strict standards set by Guinness World Records.
The category for this record was newly established, developed in consultation with Guinness specifically for this event. After an extensive verification process, Guinness confirmed that all requirements had been met, officially recognising the achievement as the first of its kind.
