Free Ramadan Souq Opens at Deira’s Grand Souq

Dubai Municipality has launched the fourth edition of its Ramadan Souq, marking the early lead-up to the holy month with a free, community-focused market in Deira. Hosted at the Grand Souq, the event is open to the public at no cost and brings together shopping, cultural activities and family-friendly programming ahead of Ramadan.
The souq features a wide selection of Ramadan essentials, offering visitors the chance to prepare for the month while supporting local vendors. Alongside retail stalls, the market includes live entertainment, workshops and activities designed for children, creating a broader community experience rather than a traditional shopping event.
Dubai Municipality said the initiative forms part of its wider seasonal programming, aiming to create accessible public spaces that reflect the social and cultural significance of Ramadan while encouraging early preparation for the fasting month. The Ramadan Souq is open daily until February 15th, operating from 10 AM to 10 PM at the Grand Souq in Deira.
