AI Adoption Reaches 45.2% Among Saudi Internet Users in 2025
The Internet 2025 report also found that 61.3% spend seven hours or more online daily and Saudi (.sa) domains grew 18% year-on-year.
The Communications, Space and Technology Commission (CST) has reported that 45.2% of internet users in Saudi Arabia used artificial intelligence tools in 2025, according to the fifth edition of its Internet 2025 report.
The report examines the Kingdom's digital infrastructure and internet usage trends, tracking the adoption of emerging technologies alongside online behaviour and digital services.
According to CST, average mobile internet data consumption reached 53 GB per person per month, around three times the global average. The report also recorded a median mobile download speed of 216 Mbps, placing Saudi Arabia among the top five G20 countries for the indicator.
The report found that 61.3% of internet users spent seven hours or more online each day.
It also analysed usage trends across social media, government services, sports and artificial intelligence applications, identifying the most-used and most-downloaded platforms in each category.
The report highlighted an 18% annual increase in registrations for .sa domain names, which CST said reflects growing trust in local internet browsing. It also examined the fastest-growing applications, browsing habits, the most widely used search engines and continued growth in Saudi domain registrations.
