Unified Qurbani Prices Approved in Dubai Ahead of Eid Al Adha 2026
Approved rates cover local and overseas options, with coordination between charities to ensure fair access and delivery.
Unified prices for Qurbani have been set in Dubai ahead of Eid Al Adha 2026, with the aim of reducing price differences and improving transparency for donors. The pricing was approved by the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in coordination with accredited charitable associations and suppliers. The framework is intended to standardise costs while ensuring that distribution reaches eligible beneficiaries both within the UAE and abroad.
The approved structure includes multiple options. A local sacrifice carried out abroad and distributed abroad is priced at AED 350. Kenyan and Ethiopian options are each set at AED 490, with slaughter conducted abroad and distribution taking place within the UAE. A Somali Qurbani option is priced at AED 800, with both slaughter and distribution carried out inside the UAE.
Officials said the unified pricing model is designed to improve resource management and ensure fairness across the system, while supporting more efficient coordination between service providers and charitable organisations. Donors have been advised to carry out Qurbani through authorised channels in Dubai to ensure compliance with the approved standards and distribution mechanisms.
Eid Al Adha, which falls on the 10th of Dhul Hijjah, is expected to begin on May 27th based on astronomical calculations by the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy. As the Islamic calendar is based on lunar cycles, the final date will depend on the sighting of the crescent moon.
