Chiati’s New Single 'Masafet El Sekka' Mixes Mahraganat into Afro-Hous
The track is part of Greek label Madoras In Da House's latest VA compilation, 'MIDH 100', which features Dorian Craft and Atsou.

Cairo-based producer and live electronic act, Chiati, newest release comes as part of Greek label Madoras In Da House's latest VA compilation, MIDH 100.
Following the breakout success of his Hive Audio release, ‘Cairo Traffic’, which secured no.1 on Anghami’s electronic charts, Chiati continues to dive deeper into the distorted sound born out of Cairo’s bustling streets.
In his latest offering, ‘Masafet El Sekka’, he reimagines the pulsating rhythms of mahraganat through his signature afro-house sensibility and the expansive melodies of analog synths.
“It’s about merging worlds, making something that feels Egyptian but speaks globally,” Chiati tells SceneNoise.
Alongside afro-house powerhouses Dorian Craft and Atsou, Chiati’s track anchors ‘MIDH 100’ as one of its standout moments. Despite only dropping today, ‘Masafet El Sekka’ has already found its way into the sets of heavyweights Caiiro and Lee Burridge, signalling another major step in Chiati’s ascent from Cairo’s underground to the international stage.
