Giza Pyramids to Host First GRAMMY House Outside US in October 2026

The Recording Academy is bringing its GRAMMY House experience outside the US for the first time, where it will be hosted against the dramatic backdrop of the Great Pyramids of Giza in October 2026.

Positioned as a space for creative and cultural exchange, the multi-day pop-up will bring together a massive roster of regional and global artists, industry leaders, and music executives on the Giza Plateau, following previous editions in Los Angeles and New York. The program will feature live performances, panels, talks, workshops, and educational sessions aimed at fostering collaboration and spotlighting emerging voices from across the region.

Produced in partnership with Taitan Capital Japan and Global Entertainment Holdings, the event is part of the Recording Academy’s broader strategy to celebrate and support music communities across Africa and the Middle East. “It’s a thrill to expand the GRAMMY House experience globally, and to see it come to life at one of the world’s most iconic locations.” Harvey Mason Jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, said.

While the launch signals recognition of the region's growing influence on global sound, the question remains whether the Academy will invest in sustained local engagement - or limit its presence to a single high-profile event?
