Idris Elba to Headline First Elrow XXL Festival in Dubai 17-18th Feb

Extravagant Spanish event series Elrow returns to Dubai for a star-studded two-day festival this February. Having hosted smaller shows in Dubai’s Soho Beach in 2018 and 2019, Elrow will be bringing its XXL festival to the city for the first time with an impressive line-up led by Hollywood actor, musician and DJ Idris Elba.

Elba is an award-winning actor, accomplished musician, songwriter, producer, actor and director. Having built a name for himself in the international dance music scene, he has become one of the most recognised DJs in the world, having performed at Coachella, Sound in LA and Output in New York, UK stages including Ministry of Sound, Creamfields and Glastonbury. Meanwhile, he has also completed a residency at Hi Ibiza in collaboration with techno music guru David Guetta.

Taking place at the prestigious D3 (Dubai Design District), the festival aims to accommodate over 10,000 attendees at their flamboyant El Triangulo de las Rowmudas stage. The colourful installation has become an iconic setting in the global electronic music scene, where some of the world’s most popular DJs have performed.

The Dubai edition of the festival aims to provide a spectacular visual experience with a pirate ship installation silhouetted by the vistas of the Dubai canal, representing the festival’s sense of excitement and adventure.
