Mohammed Saeed Unveils First Phase of His Debut Album ‘Markeba’
Comprising seven tracks, the album is emotionally-dense, where the Egyptian artist touches on themes of heartbreak and despair.
After releasing a string of successful singles over the past few years, namely ‘Konty 2olely’ and ‘Alo Aleky’ - the latter of which amassed over 200 million views on YouTube - Egyptian singer-songwriter and producer Mohammed Saeed unveils the first volume of his debut trilogy album, ‘Markeba’.
Encompassing seven tracks, the first phase of ‘Markeba’ is emotionally-dense. Saeed draws inspiration from his personal life to map out a journey of heartbreak, emotional fragility and desolation, as he navigates the intricacies of unrequited love. Each track features intricate yet simple pop production, emphasising melancholic string arrangements and minor piano keys, giving a clear space for Saeed’s raw vocals and introspective lyricism to shine through.
The remaining two phases of ‘Markeba’ will soon be released in the upcoming few months.
