Rap of the Week Mar 7-14
On this edition of our Rap of the Week playlist, we feature standout hip-hop releases across the MENA region, such as Muhab, El Sabe3 (VII) and Didine Canon 16.
SceneNoise’s curated ‘Rap of the Week’ playlist highlights some of the best hip-hop releases from the MENA region. In this edition, we’ve seen artists from North African countries dominating our streams, with releases by Didine Canon 16, Blade & Maacha and emerging Egyptian rapper Muhab.
Muhab’s newest release, ‘Heya De Eldonya’, has him reflect on his personal and professional journey, taking on an introspective approach to his lyrics. Meanwhile, Algerian rapper Didine Canon 16 released his latest single track ‘Seven Land’ just a week after his previous single, ‘Sao Paulo’. The track features fellow upcoming Algerian rapper DRIP, with the duo exchanging verses over a hard-hitting beat, showcasing their dynamic synergy and infectious flows.
Rapper and producer El Sabe3 put out his latest single ‘Sabah El Kheir’, produced by Wonder Beats, showcasing El Sabe3's evolution as he explores new sonic territory, with lighter arrangements and catchy refrains. This track serves as the second single from his upcoming project, Skip-Ad.
