Zuli Launches Left-Field Rap Label Bungarr

Acclaimed Egyptian electronic producer Zuli, alongside Rama, has announced the launch of their new left-field rap-focused record label, Bungarr. The label’s debut release is ‘Radio Yach Vol 1. YACH FM’, an album from underground producer Wagdy Yachter.

After making waves in the electronic music scene with their previous label, Irsh, the duo now shifts their focus to Egyptian hip-hop. Bungarr aims to provide a platform for the underground rap scene, carving out space for left-field and alternative artists in an increasingly commercialized industry. This new initiative seeks to inject fresh energy into the rap landscape while championing experimental sounds.

The inaugural album, ‘Radio Yach Vol 1. YACH FM’, is entirely produced by Wagdy Yachter and features collaborations with underground rap stalwarts like Logical Da9ud, Ill Feel, TRZY, Mohamed 3eryan and more. In an unconventional move, the album is being released exclusively on limited-edition cassette tapes, reflecting the label’s alternative ethos and commitment to redefining hip-hop’s boundaries.
