Egyptian Label Temraza Debuts Fragrance Line in Paris
Launched on the streets of the city of love, the ‘Temraza’ fragrance honours the brand’s Egyptian roots with Jasmine notes.
For years, luxury Egyptian label Temraza, spearheaded by founder and creative director Farida Temraz, has been no stranger to excursions to fashion capitals of the world, namely Paris. Having showcased myriad collections at Paris Fashion Week, the Egyptian brand sought to present something entirely different this February, debuting its inaugural fragrance, aptly named ‘Temraza.’
The perfume introduces a new layer to the brand’s identity, offering a way for women to express themselves through scent, for a fully fledged “Temraza experience”. At its core is Jasmine, a flower rooted in Egyptian culture, chosen for its light and refreshing aroma. It's complemented by Saffron, which adds a warm, slightly spicy note. Made with natural oils, the fragrance is simple and free from synthetic additives.
“A big part of a woman is what she wears, and her smell, and how she senses," Temraza founder and creative director Farida Temraz tells SceneStyled. “Temraza is amongst the very first Egyptian brands to go to Paris Fashion Week, and it has been a monumental aspect of our journey over the past 13 years. It just made sense to launch our first fragrance here.” Temraz adds.
Taking to the literal streets of the city of love, the brand put on quite the street show, showcasing models dressed head-to-toe in the brand’s pieces, gently carrying around a bottle of the Temraza fragrance and giving passersby a whiff of Egyptian jasmine.
