Neith Studios’ FW25 Collection is an Ode to 20th Century Cairo
Neith Studios’ new collection draws inspiration from the women of Cairo, observing how they navigate their lives—juggling numerous roles while making it all seem effortless.
Egyptian ready-to-wear label Neith Studios just released a collection that feels both fresh and thoughtfully evolved. The latest FW25 collection marks a maturity in their brand tone, exploring modern elegance with fresh eyes. Where FW25 plays with contrasts between sharp tailoring and soft, fluid elements, their previous collection ‘Midnight Reflections’ leaned into all-out flamboyance, with sequined garments inspired by 80s disco culture—far from the quiet elegance of FW25.
Their debut collection, SS21, took inspiration from a wide range of sources: the grandeur of Luxor’s temples, the sparkle of diamond clusters, the vibrancy of modern art, and the natural beauty of the sun, sunflowers, and palm leaves, all united together to create a distinctive narrative. Today, the brand delves into the convergence of structure and fluidity.
The Muse: “I looked at the women of Cairo and the way we move through our lives—always juggling so much, yet making it look effortless,” the founder, Amina Said, tells SceneStyled. “I wanted to capture that mood of modern elegance, with just a hint of nostalgia.” Nostalgic it is, indeed, with a reverence for classic silhouettes and tailoring reminiscent of mid-20th-century fashion. The structured blazers with pleated skirts and trench coats harken back to timeless staples that dominated the wardrobes of past eras, especially the 1940s and 50s. However, Neith Studios breathes new life into these classics with modern deconstructions and unexpected details, making them feel fresh and relevant.
The subtle palette of soft neutrals—beiges, greys, and blacks—adds a vintage charm, while still remaining sleek and contemporary. The oversized trench coats with exaggerated lapels and flowing layers recall the drama of old Hollywood, but are styled for the modern, busy, fast-moving woman. ”It’s about classic tailoring, reimagined for today’s woman—someone who appreciates both precision and softness,” she says.
The Collection Dissected: This collection distinguishes itself through its exploration of contrasts and dynamic interplay between structure and softness. Sharp, tailored lines form the backbone of the designs, while elements like flowing pleats, graceful draping, and striking asymmetry introduce an air of fluidity and approachability. “The goal was to create pieces that exude power while feeling effortlessly wearable and expressive,” Said says.
Signature elements, such as the brand's asymmetrical pleats, feed every look a certain edge that feels distinctly Neith Studios. “I start by respecting the integrity of classic tailoring, then introduce unexpected elements, like exaggerated proportions or sculptural forms that bring a modern edge.”
The Collection in Three Words: “Structure, elegance, versatility,” she tells SceneStyled.
Where to Wear It: “I envision them being worn in a multitude of different facets in an urban setting, whether it’s at a chic office, an art gallery opening, or an evening event, or even casual settings when styled differently,” the founder says. “They’re meant for women who navigate multiple worlds seamlessly.”
How to Style it:
The Designer Suggests: “I’d suggest mixing structured pieces with softer, more casual elements,” she recommends. “For instance, pairing a tailored jacket with a simple top and jeans can create a chic, effortless ensemble.”
The collection includes sets sold separately, so customers can mix and match wardrobe staples. “I would recommend dialing back on the accessories to let the garments shine.”
Scene Styled Suggests: Clean lines and neutral shoes are best friends here. These designs shine when styling is on the low-key side, keeping the overall look understated and refined.

The Collection’s Stand-Out Pieces: “The white blazer with the white fringe skirt is a personal favorite,” Said shares. “It took countless hours to design this piece, as I kept trying different samples, materials and lengths until it all came together.” To the founder, the look embodies the collection’s essence with the way it merges structure with drama.
The Designs Through Amina Said’s Lens: Texture plays a major role in tying the collection together. “Wool-like fabrics bring warmth and a sense of heritage, while smooth finishes introduce a sleek, modern contrast,” she says. “Together, they symbolize the merging of old-world craftsmanship with new-world innovation.”
The Verdict:
The campaign’s pink backdrop adds an unexpected softness and playful twist to the otherwise structured designs, contrasting with the neutral tones of the collection. Neith Studios has managed to pull off timeless tailoring with just enough edge to make it feel completely current.
