Egyptian Designer Shahira Lasheen Orchestrates Egypt’s First-Ever Digital Runway Show

In February of this year at the historic Abdeen palace in Cairo, guests were invited to attend the exclusive showcase of Shahira Lasheen’s ‘Al-Qahira 20’ collection. When guests arrived, however, no runway was in sight. Soon, the screens lit, and Egypt’s first digital runway showcase was unveiled. With a performance by Egyptian DJ Molotof and his own mom, the night was one that resulted in many-a-viral clips.
