Cairo Intl. Airport Is Getting a New USD 4.5 Billion Terminal by 2029

Cairo International Airport is set for a major expansion with the planned addition of Terminal 4, set to open in 2029.

The USD 4.5 billion project is expected to accommodate 30 to 40 million passengers annually, significantly boosting the airport’s overall capacity to 65 million passengers, up from the 28 million currently managed across existing terminals.

Additionally, studies are underway to integrate the new terminal with a potential Cairo metro extension, improving connectivity to the airport.
