Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi has unveiled its new Kids’ Palace, a vibrant three-storey miniature replica of the hotel designed for children aged 10 months to 12 years.
A thoughtfully-crafted area with tailored educational experiences, The Kids Palace features distinct zones that cater to different age groups, including Fatima & Friends for toddlers, Family Nest as a family-oriented area, Falcon Adventures for older children, and Flutter Bites, a dedicated children’s restaurant. Both indoor and outdoor spaces encourage safe exploration and adventure, enhanced by thematic camps and activities.
Focused on five core pillars—sustainability, culinary arts, creative expression, wellbeing, and exploration—the Kids Palace provides opportunities for children to learn about environmental stewardship through activities like gardening and nature walks. Interactive cooking classes and farm-to-table experiences are also on offer, alongside art and sculpture workshops for budding creatives.
“The Kids’ Palace is designed to spark imagination and foster a lifelong passion for learning, creativity, and sustainability, providing a captivating experience for our younger guests,” Michael Koth, General Manager of Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi and Area Vice President of Operations, Middle East, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, shares with SceneTraveller.
Open daily from 8AM until 6PM, the Kids Palace will soon be able to host birthday parties, sports match screenings, PlayStation tournaments and stargazing sleepovers.
