Marriott International to Open Three New Hotels in Saudi’s Madinah

Marriott International has announced the expansion of its presence in Saudi Arabia’s Madinah with the introduction of three new hotels in partnership with Knowledge Economic City (KEC).

Located within the Islamic World District, the hotels will add over 1,200 rooms to the Holy City across three distinct Marriott brands—Courtyard by Marriott, Four Points by Sheraton, and Residence Inn by Marriott.

Part of KEC’s ambitious 6.8 million square meter master development, the Islamic World District will feature a museum, cultural center, and plaza celebrating Islamic heritage, alongside residential, retail, and recreational facilities. Seamlessly connected to the Haramain High-Speed Railway, the development will provide convenient links to Jeddah and Makkah, enhancing accessibility for pilgrims and visitors alike.

Each hotel will offer a tailored experience to meet the needs of various travelers. Courtyard by Marriott will deliver a blend of comfort and functionality, Four Points by Sheraton will offer a casual and inviting environment, and Residence Inn by Marriott will cater to extended stays with apartment-style accommodations.
