Minor Hotels to Open Avani+ Fujairah Resort in 2028
The new beachfront property will mark the Avani brand’s debut in Fujairah and its first resort offering in the UAE.
Minor Hotels is bringing a fresh addition to the UAE’s east coast, signing an agreement to open the Avani+ Fujairah Resort in 2028. Set along the Gulf of Oman, the new beachfront destination will not only mark the Avani brand’s debut in Fujairah but also its first dedicated resort property in the Emirates.
The new-build project, developed in partnership with UAE-based Al Fahim Group, will feature 232 hotel rooms and 16 villas, ranging from three to five bedrooms. Some villas will offer private pools and direct lagoon access—an offering that’s expected to stand out in the local hospitality scene. The partnership builds on the success of their previous collaboration, the Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites.
Plans for the resort include an AvaniSpa, a rooftop grill restaurant, a poolside bar, an all-day dining venue, and The Pantry grab-and-go concept. Guests can also look forward to an AvaniFit fitness centre, a swimming pool, and dedicated spaces for kids and teens, complete with a splash pool and a club area. Meeting rooms and event spaces will round out the amenities, aiming to serve both leisure travellers and business guests.
The signing of Avani+ Fujairah Resort was highlighted as a major step in the Avani brand’s Middle East expansion, with Fujairah’s potential as a leisure destination hoped to align with Avani’s emphasis on stylish, experience-led hospitality.
