Muscat Will Soon Be Home to Stunning New Anantara Hotel

Luxury hospitality leader Minor Hotels has announced the expansion of its renowned Anantara brand in Oman with the unveiling of a new beachfront resort in Bandar Al Khairan, Muscat.

Slated to open in 2026, this 121-key haven will blend contemporary elegance with the captivating beauty of the Omani coastline, offering guests an unforgettable escape from daily stressors and the metropolis-based cacophony. Just 45 minutes away from the capital city, the new resort will boast a diverse selection of accommodations, including 51 guest rooms, 46 chalets, and 24 villas. Each space will be designed to embrace the natural surroundings, providing panoramic views of the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Oman.

The resort's focus on wellness will be evident in its extensive spa facilities, which include personalized treatments and signature experiences inspired by ancient Omani traditions. Additionally, a variety of dining options will cater to diverse palates, showcasing delectable local and international cuisine in captivating settings. As for the facilities, the resort will feature an infinity pool and a helipad, along with meeting and events areas.

Commenting on the expansion, Dillip Rajakarier, CEO of Minor Hotels and group CEO of Minor International, expressed his enthusiasm on LinkedIn: "The timeless beauty of the Omani coast is a natural home for Anantara. Musstir are trusted partners who share our vision for the potential of this magnificent destination and our dedication to excellence across every element. Our team and I look forward to seeing this new Anantara come to fruition between the mountains and the sea."

The upcoming Anantara resort in Bandar Al Khairan marks the latest addition to Minor Hotels' growing portfolio in the Middle East, joining the two already established Anantara properties in the UAE and Qatar.
