Saudi Nationals & Residents Will Soon Be Eligible for E-visas to Japan
Previously, applications had to be submitted in person at the Japanese embassy or consulate.
Starting March 27th, Saudi nationals and residents of Saudi Arabia will be eligible to apply for a visa to Japan online, according to a recent statement from the Japanese embassy in Saudi Arabia.
Previously, applications had to be submitted in person at the Japanese embassy or consulate. Applicants will be required to fill out a digital form providing basic information such as contacts, passport and travel details.
The new decision is set to streamline the travel process to Japan and strengthen diplomatic relationships between Japan. According to the Japanese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, more visa facilities for Saudi nationals are underway.
