Saudi’s Riyadh Air Takes Fashion to the Skies with Designer Uniforms
Having dressed the likes of Beyonce and Zendaya, Saudi designer Ashi is taking on a new mile-high challenge.
In sartorial and aviation-related news, Riyadh Air, the new Saudi Arabian airline set to launch in 2025, has announced a collaboration with renowned Saudi designer Ashi for its cabin crew uniforms.
Ashi, the first Saudi designer to present at Haute Couture Week in Paris, has unveiled the exclusive uniform collection at the prestigious event on June 27th. The uniform design aims to embody Riyadh Air’s distinctive approach and dedication to excellence in the aviation industry.
“It is a hugely proud moment for Riyadh Air to be working with an exceptionally talented designer such as Ashi for our beautiful cabin crew fashion line,” Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air, tells SceneTraveller. “Our cabin crew personify the panache and style that Riyadh Air represents, making it imperative to partner with a like-minded innovator who not only understands Saudi Arabian culture and hospitality, but also captures the essence of our brand with a bold, visual impact.”
With a digital-first mindset, Riyadh Air plans to set new standards in both service and style, as well as connect Riyadh to over 100 destinations by 2030.
