You Can Now Stay at This Neon-Lit Parisian Hotel in Dubai

Founded in Paris in 2008, Mama Shelter has made its Middle Eastern debut with a new property in Dubai’s Business Bay. Known for its blend of flamboyance and affordability, Mama Shelter Dubai is all about mixing Eastern and Western influences, resulting in a playful design.

The hotel’s rooms range from affordable lodgings—such as the Mama Double room with rates starting at around USD 122—to more luxurious options, like the XXL Mama Crazy Suite, which comes with a private bar and Jacuzzi. Yet, no matter which room you end up choosing, you can expect city views, satin bedsheets, and organic toiletries from the brand’s Mama Skin line.

With four outdoor swimming pools—including the striking Mama Skypool, which offers views of the Dubai skyline—the four-star hotel also features a number of neon-lit spaces, live DJ sets, a private outdoor cinema where a curated selection of films is screened under the stars, and a 1920s speakeasy-inspired venue.

As for Mama Shelter Dubai’s culinary offerings, those include Mama Trattoria, serving authentic Italian dishes, and Mama Restaurant, where guests can savor brasserie-style comfort food.
