Saudi City of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah is Getting Its First Cinema

Saudi Arabia’s Empire Cinema will open the first cinema in the city of Al-Madinah Al-Munawarah, the capital of the Madinah province.

Located in Al-Rashid Mega Mall, Al Madinah Cinema marks the tenth branch of Empire Cinemas in the Kingdom, and the second cinema the Saudi company has opened this year. The new venue features IMAX, which is the world’s most immersive movie experience designed with laser technologies, along with an advanced audio system.

Today, Saudi Arabia hosts about 112 cinema halls across the Kingdom.
